Great Weekend all around here's how the results came down:Thanks Jason and all of you out there representing Tribe!

On the Women's side, M1's Dirty Girls finished 1st overall in the Women 4 person Teams category while
MPB/Tribe Lifelock team Finished 3rd over all in the Womens 4 person team!
Here's Jason's Account of the race:
Friday around Midnight it started dumping Rain and the temp dropped to 42 degrees at 7800 feet, The Race started at 7am with each team needing to complete 4 26.5 mile laps in under 12 hours for SOLO, 11 hours for Duo and 10 hours for four person teams. Each lap had roughly 2500ft of vertical with a final 5 miles climb with over 1200ft of climbing starting at the 19.5 mile marker. When the Race started is was 48 degrees with Mud Everywhere! By the time the first lap done the Rain had stopped and the temp got into the low 50s. The Rest of the Day was cloudy and windy with temps never exceeding 60. Great job to Redrock for putting on a GREAT event and Travis from Rooley Sunglasses for helping out with support for the Tribe teams. This is a Great Race and was Awesome to see Tribe have the largest numbers of riders present at the race!!
The race was great! On of our teammates was not present. He was celebrating the birth of his 2nd baby girl. J Congratulations to Chris Latvaaho and his wife for the birth of Makenzie @ 2:00am!!! …and you thought you got up early!
Otherwise, the day went off without a hitch. Thank you for all of you that came out and raced, volunteered, and help make the race absolutely awesome. I could not have asked for better weather. I could not have asked for a better team. Here are some highlights… hopefully, I didn’t forget anybody.

| 7pm - ??
This is one of the big ones... a don't miss it event. Rage hosts the greatest Booze Cruise event around!
They are attaching this one to a charity event. They are alley racing (details on www.ragecycles.com) which is optional from 7:00pm to 8:00pm Entries are $25 a head for 3 man teams. Note: 100% of the money (not just the proceeds) goes to the Zoo fund. Yay Rage!
For those of you that don't want to partake in the alley racing, we are taking an optional collection at TRIBE to take over with us when we head over as a group for the cause. Give if you can... don't if you can't! | |
And, this just in..Apparently, "creepy 70's porn mustaches are back in style" says Andres of Tribe Multisport. Feel free to let us know your thoughts, and don't be afraid when you next visit the store...it's just Andres!

Jozsef Major didn't have big expectations in this weekends Duathlon, as his specialty is long course and Ironman. He surprised even himself when he took 2nd overall at the Desert Classic Duathlon. The overall champion is Chris Foster who not only is lightning fast at the shorter distance course, but may very well be bound for the Olympics. Keep your eye out on that freak of nature... Congratulations Chris. Congratulations Jozsef. |
